The Weston Bear

Between April 18 and April 19 a black bear was spotted numerous times in Weston. The bear was not a full grown bear, but a medium/small size bear. People who saw the bear say it looked like it weighed about 180 pounds. The bear was spotted around South Post Road both times. What are the odds that a black bear would be spotted in Weston? I barely ever hear about bears in Florida. I think it is safe to assume that if any, there are not many more bears in Weston, thus this bear will be known as The Weston Bear. The Weston Bear is not very popular with Weston Officials though. The commission stated "We want to make sure bears move on and are not attracted to stay in these neighborhoods". Poor Weston Bear.

  1. I actually laughed when I found out this bear was roaming around Weston. I think it's so funny, since when is there any kind of animal except for a stray cat that wonders these busy streets? And a bear nonetheless, ha. I really want to know what will happen with this. And I also want to know where it came from, because it had to have been somewhere close with a mommy and a daddy nearby!

  2. I still can't get over how Fox news gives out their information. They make the news so dramatic when really it is just a tiny bear. They made it seem like there was a huge bear roaming around on the edge of killing people. Fox news cracks me up...lol

  3. I feel so bad for this poor bear. It was on this on a daring journey to go wear no bear has gone before. It didn’t know what lied before it when it crossed into no –bears- land, maybe it was hoping for Berriesville with houses and people made of berries and don’t mind something to nibble on them. But we gave him instead was a whole lot of hate and despair. The people he was hoping to see with warm smiles are now looking at him with fear and hate. And he can’t seem to think of anything he did wrong to offend them. It must have infringed on their mediocre lives and so he decides to leave. But he soon realizes he has no idea what direction home is.
